The objective of this Department is to ensure that statutory landuse planning issues are complied with to assist developers when they are considering expansion or establishment.
The Department processed 111 Development Applications during the period 01/07/2007 to 30/06/2008 with the development at an estimated value of $104,704,968.35 (58 of these developments were for Construction Certificates at a value of $3,101,244.35). This compared to 134 applications for the previous year with a value of works at. $10,367,365.38.
